Mission & History

Who We Are

The Touchstone Recovery Program’s mission is: to create a lasting, positive, recovery-initiating experience for each individual served.

We accomplish this through: a) providing a safe, therapeutic environment conducive to recovery-initiation; b) exposing individuals to the full variety of roads to recovery; c) utilizing evidence-based principles and practices that are designed to deepen commitment to behavioral change; d) personalizing the treatment plan and experience to meet the full needs of each individual in service by utilizing a the multi-disciplinary team approach; and e) linking each individual with appropriate resources that are needed to continue their recovery.

Touchstone was formed in 1998 to provide short-term residential treatment and is a collaborative program provided by Houses of Hope and CenterPointe.

Funded in part through the State, Region V funds and Medicaid, Touchstone offers residential substance use treatment services on a sliding fee scale. We strive to help people attain healthier, more productive lives despite circumstances that may normally be a barrier to access.
